Exploring energy, intuition, and colour

Aura photographs capture you in your auric field. The specialised, and very rare, camera—developed in the 1970s—measures energy by reading biofeedback data from silver hand plates. Through the double-exposure process, you and your energy are captured on limited, no-longer-in-production instant film. Each portrait session is a completely personalised experience and includes a colour interpretation explaining the meaning of your aura colours and their placements.

Our energy is always changing, and so are our auras. Throughout the day our auras will likely have shifted in some way. Some people have one main dominant colour that shows up consistently, or sometimes a particular colour that shows up during certain phases or seasons of their lives. For some they will have a certain dominant colour during a portrait alone, and a different colour if a loved one is in the room with them, or even if they are focusing their thought on a loved one. Portraits with a friend or partner also reveal an intermingling of energies, or of the relationship’s own special aura colours (taken in tandem with solo portraits, you can really see the energetic patterns).

Aura photography can be used to visually track changes in our lives—different colours manifest in the aura according to how different life situations affect us (before or after a move, amidst life changes, energy healing, a cathartic conversation). For example, portraits taken during stages of pregnancy and postnatally display the flow of energies between mother and child. Or, before and and after career change, tracking how the energy and concerns have shifted. Photos taken throughout a year show the range of our energetic experiences, their kaleidoscope of different colours—and what those colours say about where we were in those snapshots of time. Aura portraits are truly fascinating mementos of our lives.
