HELD :: a sustained practice of attention

Some thresholds are easier to stay at with company. HELD is a way to have it. It is a long-form mentorship practice that moves in phases rather than a single session or an indefinite arrangement. Each phase is four to seven sessions held around what is actually live for you in that stretch of the crossing. A phase is firm enough to be safe to go deep in, and loose enough to follow what emerges rather than a script.

HELD is for people in a real transition: in love, in work, in identity, in how they are related to their own life. Individuals, couples, parents, people building something, people in the middle of unbuilding something.

What the work is

The frame I work within is individuation: the long work of becoming fully yourself beneath the conditioning, the roles, and the inherited stories. In practice that looks like:

  • tracking the patterns — in how you speak, how you hold tension, how a relationship or a decision keeps repeating — until they are visible to you, because a visible pattern is one you can finally move

  • building nervous-system literacy — not only steadier, but more fluent: able to read your own activation and settling, so the steadiness becomes yours to keep

  • working with symbol and ritual — tarot, astrology, altar and spell-craft as interpretive languages, where they open something analysis alone cannot

  • restoring possibility — meeting shame and rigidity where they have narrowed the field, and widening it again

  • metabolising experience — turning what you have lived into something you can think with and stand on

How it is held

Long sessions, because depth needs time. Nervous systems unfold rhythmically, and people usually reach the real material only after they have settled. Repeated work, because change is a practice, not an event: re-patterning needs reinforcement, and a pattern only becomes visible when it is witnessed more than once. Adaptive, because you are not a protocol. Different people need different pacing: different challenge, different softness, different forms of support, all read in the moment.

What I am not is a guru, and HELD is built so you do not become dependent on me. The work is yours. You should leave it more able to author your own narrative. That is the whole point of the word authority.

Beginning

HELD begins with a conversation—twenty minutes, no charge—to feel whether the work and the fit are right. If you are already considering a tarot reading or a natal-chart session, that can be a way to meet the work before committing to a phase.

Pricing for HELD is discussed in that first conversation. The container is shaped to the person, and so is the arrangement.
